Meal prepping is another important aspect to your health journey. This helped me tremendously in my own journey and I still practice meal prepping. Meal prepping not only helps you stay on track with your healthy eating habits, but it also saves you time and money you would usually lose if you cooked or ate a fast food place everyday. Before I start to cook anything I like to plan out my meals before I go to the store. Writing down my meals ahead of time prevents me from falling victim to the candy, chips, and cookie aisles of the store. Eating the same thing everyday can get boring and might cause you to fall off and eat that burger and large fry, so try different recipes to keep things interesting. Remember this should not be a chore but a part of your journey you should enjoy.
Fitness is important but a healthy nutrition helps maintain a healthy lifestyle. Eating the right foods provides your body with energy, essential fats, vitamins, protein, and minerals to grow and function properly. Changing your eating habits can be hard but if you make the effort to make small changes it will add up to major results and a healthier and happier lifestyle.
